Having witnessed the glorious past of CZ, I am even more confident that Yi He will lead Binance to continue writing a brilliant chapter in Web3 — having seen the glory of history, we now stride toward a bright future. Congratulations to Yi He @heyibinance!

Although I couldn’t attend #BinanceBlockchainWeek in Dubai to offer my congratulations in person, as a long-time Binance user, I was truly moved when I heard the news that Yi He (@heyibinance) has officially become Binance Co-CEO(Co-Chief Executive Officer)!

My first reaction wasn’t surprise, but rather a sense of “finally, it’s a natural progression.”

CZ @cz_binance once said, “She should have been the Binance CEO from day 1” (8 years ago), which perfectly echoes what those of us who have been long-time fans have always felt in our hearts — she deserves this position, and she’s more than capable of handling it!

We always say she’s “the right fit,” and that comes from the most genuine details.

In the crypto industry, which is filled with cold technical jargon, she is the manager who always brings “warmth.” While others get busy reading reports after becoming executives, she still spends time in the community reading user feedback.

When new users complained about complicated operations, she pushed the team to optimize processes.

Even after becoming a billionaire, she still answers questions in groups, checks feedback on Twitter, patiently follows up on customer service issues, and is no different from when Binance was just getting started.

This sharp sense of “understanding the product and understanding people” isn’t just a marketing label — it’s something we’ve truly experienced over the years, a genuine “user-first” approach.

What reassures us most is her willingness to “never shy away” from taking responsibility. In the crypto world, bull and bear markets alternate, with policy swings, hacker attacks, and public scrutiny never ending. But every time a storm hits, she’s never one of those “disappearing executives” — she’s always the first to step up and clarify the situation, respond to community questions one by one, and keep the team focused on solving problems.

This spirit of “building quietly in good times, standing strong in adversity” has given us users the most precious sense of security: as long as she’s here, we feel safe.

As a female role model in the industry, what’s most rare about her is that she “never relies on labels.” The outside world often mentions “a rare female leader in fintech,” but we know she never relied on her gender — it’s her decisiveness in acquiring new users, her precise judgment in building the ecosystem, and her integrity in strictly following non-compete agreements.

She’s shown us that female leadership can be “a blend of strength and sensitivity”: decisive when making calls, and attentive in understanding user sentiment; knowledgeable about Web3 technologies, and truly understands the needs of regular users.

Now, with Richard Teng @_RichardTeng forming a “dual-core” leadership with her, we feel even more confident about Binance’s future. Richard focuses on compliance and a solid foundation, while she delves into user and ecosystem innovation. Their complementary roles — one focusing on stability, the other on progress — are exactly what the industry needs right now: steady advancement.

This isn’t just a simple personnel change; it’s Binance handing the “steering wheel” to the person who understands this ship best — its origins, its users, and its direction.

Finally, as an ordinary user, I want to say from the heart: Congratulations, Yi He! Your eight years “on the front lines,” never avoiding the storms, have proven that those who truly understand users and are willing to take responsibility will eventually stand where they belong.

I also wish Binance, as it balances “compliance” and “innovation,” now has the most reliable helmswoman. Roles may change, but we believe what’s ingrained in Binance’s DNA — “users first, building for the long-term” — will never change.

Just like we’ve always said: Keep Building. For the next eight years, we’ll be with you and with Binance, moving forward together!
