Dubai conference, here are some of my thoughts.

First of all, people in the crypto circle need to be very careful when they’re out and about. I just saw a Taiwanese blogger, who mainly does trading, post a video today saying he was robbed.

The robber directly transferred his crypto away, and it’s definitely hard to catch someone after something like this happens. That’s why I basically never wear any exchange merchandise when I go out now, because it’s too easy to get targeted by bad actors.

As for offline conferences, going once or twice is enough. Going too often is meaningless—it's always the same familiar faces, and they rarely change from batch to batch.

If you’re a blogger, the first thing you must do is remain objective, independent, and third-party. If you’re always attending offline events, your followers will think you’re being sponsored. Once that happens, you can’t talk about independence anymore, and your content will automatically be labeled as copywriting.

Next, you have to weigh the gains and losses. Attending offline events usually takes up several days, which delays your ability to think and produce content. This is a kind of neglect for your followers, who are expecting you to provide them with valuable content.

To sum up: when you’re out, safety comes first; content is king. Even when attending events, make sure to prepare high-quality content in advance. Your self-motivation shouldn’t stop—not even for a single day.
