Global crypto access just got hammered. Cloudflare's infrastructure went down, taking out multiple top-tier exchanges and DeFi protocol interfaces with it. Users couldn't reach major trading platforms or interact with decentralized apps during the blackout. Here's the uncomfortable question nobody wants to answer: if "decentralized" finance goes dark because one cloud provider hiccups, are we actually decentralized? The irony is thick—protocols built to eliminate single points of failure are getting wrecked by... a single point of failure. Web3 still runs on Web2 rails, and today proved it.

Centralized infrastructure is the real chokepoint. That’s the truth of Web3. Where’s the promised decentralization? In the end, you’re still at someone else’s mercy.
