Crypto wallets — are they finally getting their act together on usability?
There's this interesting conversation happening right now. A CEO from the wallet space is sitting down with folks from a layer-2 protocol and a major crypto media outlet. The topic? How digital wallets are quietly morphing into something way bigger than just storage tools.
Think crypto neobanks. Not the clunky interfaces we've tolerated for years, but actual financial hubs where you can manage, transact, and maybe even earn — all without wanting to throw your device out the window.
The shift isn't just cosmetic. We're talking fundamental rethinking of user experience, security layers that don't sacrifice convenience, and features that normal humans (not just developers) might actually use daily.
Wallets used to be glorified password managers. Now? They're positioning themselves as your entire on-chain financial identity. Whether that vision materializes or crashes into the same UX graveyard as previous attempts — well, that's the multi-billion dollar question.

Are wallets really making a comeback? I don't think so... It's just the same thing with a new look, still scamming newcomers.

It sounds nice, but when it actually comes to using it, it's still just as complicated.

It's still the same empty promises, hyped up every bull run.

This should have been changed a long time ago. Every time I use the wallet, it's incredibly frustrating—a bunch of weird menus and error messages... I sincerely hope this isn't just empty promises again.

Wait, is it really different this time? Why do I feel like we've seen this story play out several times before...

If NGL Wallet really improves the experience this time, I'll believe it, but it feels like the same old tricks again...

The crypto wallet community always hypes things up, but how many are actually usable? Let's wait and see.
