Source: DigitalToday Original Title: Ethereum Network Fees Decrease by 62%… TVL Also Drops Original Link: As activity on the Ethereum network slows down, both fees and TVL(Total Value Locked) are decreasing.

Ethereum network fees over the past 30 days have decreased by 62%, while during the same period, Tron, Solana, and HyperEVM saw declines of about 22%. In contrast, Base(Base) increased by 108% and Polygon(Polygon) by 81%, indicating the expansion of the Layer 2 ecosystem.

The recently updated Ethereum ‘Pusaka’ upgrade may have contributed to the reduction in network fees by improving rollup efficiency.

To confirm the decrease in Ethereum network demand, DApp(DApp) data was analyzed, revealing that decentralized exchange(DEX) trading volume dropped from $23.6 billion four weeks ago to $13.4 billion. DApp revenue also hit a five-month low at $12.3 million. Major DApp TVLs such as Pendle(Pendle), Morpho(Morpho), and Spark(Spark) also declined, while Ethereum-based TVL fell from $100 billion two months ago to $76 billion currently.

PENDLE-4.23%
MORPHO-2.05%
SPK-4.48%
