Is the whale who took over ETH at a high level unable to hold on? Transferred 3,373 ETH to Binance in 7 hours, with an unrealized loss of over $5 million.
On-chain data shows that a certain ETH whale ( address 0x31D…7a1c7) recently transferred 3373.1 ETH to Binance within the past 7 hours. Based on an average deposit price of $3399.7, this asset is valued at $11,467,000.
Rewinding to October 14th this year, this “smart money” previously offered 3593.21 ETH at an average price of $4051.00. At that time, the market was still oscillating at high levels. Who knew ETH would then plummet, with unrealized losses reaching up to $5.13 million.
If this operation truly involved a full liquidation, the substantial loss would be fixed at $2.196 million. Can the whale withstand the pain of buying at high prices? Or does it have other plans? We can only continue to watch and wait.

nah wait, actually if you look at the data here... 3.3k eth dump doesn't necessarily mean capitulation, could be rebalancing across protocols or just consolidating before the next leg. the -$2.1m realized loss is rough but tbh, for a whale at that scale? probably just tax harvesting szn. degens panic, big money plays different games fr fr.

Wow, even this giant whale is starting to admit defeat. It seems no one can really withstand taking over at high levels.

Whoa, this big guy is starting to cut losses too? Looks like 4051 isn't the bottom after all.

High-level traps are really unmanageable; even whales have to obediently run away.

Ha, another failed attempt to buy the dip at a high... even whales are human.

Whales also have to cut losses. Holding onto high positions and trapping others—no one can withstand this. Are you just going to accept a loss of 2,196,000? Maybe they're just looking for a sucker to take over.
