Attack on Aevo Ribbon DOV Vault Results in $2.7 Million Loss
On December 12, the old version of the Ribbon DOV vault on the Aevo platform was attacked due to a vulnerability in the smart contract, resulting in a loss of approximately $2.7 million and 32% of assets. The platform continues to operate, all Ribbon vaults are halted and will be deactivated. Users are advised to withdraw their funds after the contract update, which will be released next week, and compensation claims can be submitted until June 12, 2026, with potential payouts of up to 19% of the lost funds.
