#大户持仓动态 5x leverage can still lead to huge losses. Do these small coins have any hope?
Recently, I've seen many people talking about using 5x leverage to go long on certain altcoins, only to get completely trapped. This is outrageous—their goal was to double their investment, but they ended up getting cut in half or worse. Someone asked, "How low can these coins go?" Honestly, that’s a tough question.
Leverage amplifies gains but also magnifies risks. With 5x leverage, a 20% price move can trigger liquidation. Altcoins are already highly volatile, and combined with poor liquidity and pump-and-dump schemes, once the trend reverses, there's really no rescue. Many people didn't think much when they entered; by the time they realize it, they've been completely drained.
The problem is, these small coins lack fundamental support. Without real applications, ecosystems, or sustained demand, they rely purely on hype and sentiment. Once the enthusiasm fades, where can the price go? Instead of guessing where the next bottom is, it's better to first understand: why are you even involved with these assets?

Playing altcoins with 5x leverage, isn't this just asking for death? The liquidation list is about to add more people.

It's the same old story, still asking whether to save or not. You should have accepted it long ago.

Playing altcoins with 5x leverage, isn't this just suicide? And asking whether to save you during liquidation...

ngl the real issue here isn't predicting where these tokens bottom out—it's that most of them have zero tokenomics design or governance primitives to begin with... like, why would you even 5x leverage something without auditing the smart contracts first? that's just asking to get liquidated lmao
