Hassett: US inflation is actually below target, and the Fed has "ample room" to cut interest rates.
White House economic adviser Hassett stated during an interview with Fox Business on Friday that President Trump is correct in saying that inflation is low, despite the fact that data, public opinion, and most economists disagree with this view. Hassett indicated that the common practice of assessing inflation based on year-over-year comparisons is incorrect, and it is better to look at the three-month moving average of price pressures. This means that price pressures are not significantly exceeding the Fed's 2% target, and are actually below the target. Hassett explained that based on the three-month average price pressure, the current inflation rate is about 1.6%. Core inflation in the U.S. "is at or below target levels," which gives the Fed "ample room" to cut interest rates. #成长值抽奖赢金条和精美周边

Still in a fluctuation,一直在震荡, long-short equity strategy is comfortable, the direction will be out soon.
