Previously, when trading contracts, I wanted to benefit from funding rates, but often the rate was paid while the price moved in the opposite direction, resulting in losses in the contract position that offset the funding profit. In this kind of market, I think intelligent rebalancing is more practical. After all, holding spot is more tangible. I'm just not very clear about the logic behind intelligent rebalancing. For example, if it matches 50% BTC and 50% ETH, buying at 90,000 and 3,000, and during a decline it matches 60% BTC and 40% ETH, to maintain balance, does the robot sell below 90,000 and then buy ETH to balance? I hope you can explain the process of intelligent rebalancing in more detail. Arbitrage is more straightforward, but it seems to require choosing the right direction. I previously tried buying spot and shorting to earn fees, but I stopped because the profit was too low with limited funds.
