December 31 Morning BTC / ETH Market Update

From the 4-hour timeframe, after a rapid surge in Bitcoin, there was no out-of-control pullback. Instead, it digested the selling pressure above through a retest. During the overall correction, the lows remained above the previous key support levels, indicating a structure of a retest without breaking and an intact trend.

Currently, the price has returned to around the moving averages, suggesting that the bullish funds have not exited but are consolidating through time to gain space. As long as the support below remains effective, this appears more like a consolidation during an upward move rather than a phase of top formation.

From the 1-hour timeframe, the pace of decline has noticeably slowed. The chart mainly shows consecutive small-bodied candlesticks, with lows gradually rising. The bearish momentum is weakening, and bulls and bears are re-engaging in a tug-of-war. Short-term indicators have also gradually recovered from the weak zone, indicating that short-term selling pressure has been sufficiently released. The subsequent trend is more inclined toward a sideways to bullish structure. The key is whether the current range can be maintained. Once stabilized, there is still room for upward testing.
