#DeFi社区信任危机 Seeing the incident of Circle's false press release, I still feel a bit emotional. A document falsely claiming to be from a major company and even quoting the CEO's statements can spread, which actually reflects the fragility of trust within the entire ecosystem.
What worries me most is not the event itself, but the issues it exposes—many people act hastily before verifying the authenticity of information. If someone buys tokens that don't actually exist based on this fake press release, the losses could be irreparable.
This is also what I have always wanted to remind everyone: in the world of DeFi, proper position management and information verification are definitely not overcautious. I recommend developing a few habits—always double-check major news through official channels, don't rely solely on reposts; give yourself ample observation time for new services and tokens; and most importantly, never put all your chips on a single project or piece of information.
In the long run, the investors who thrive are often not the ones who react the fastest, but the most calm and cautious. Trust this, and solid risk management is much more reliable than chasing every hot trend.
