The bull market makes you live in the fear of rising. True bull markets are never about the thrill of opening champagne every day, but about daily increases while you keep doubting: Is this the last rise?
Why is that?
First, the rise is too smooth, and people feel uneasy. Because, as I’ve said before, the market always rises amid hesitation. In a bear market, you get used to being beaten,磨, and doubted. Once the market starts to strengthen continuously, your brain instinctively reminds you:
“Is this a false breakout?” “Is the main force诱多?” “Is it going to give a big bearish line tomorrow?”
So, the emotion is not happiness but tension.
Second, a real bull market constantly pushes you into a “mistake” position. When you sell, it continues to rise. When you switch positions, the original one keeps rising. When you hesitate, it pulls away directly. The pain of a bull market is not losing money but missing out and doubting yourself.
Third, the most tormenting stage of a bull market is precisely the middle front. It’s not the疯狂阶段, but that pattern of rising a little, sideways, then rising again, then sideways. You always feel “it’s not moving up anymore,” but every time you look back, it’s already higher. At this time, the emotions are: afraid to add, reluctant to sell, and tired of watching the screen every day.
