Tether-backed Stable Blockchain to Upgrade to Mainnet 1.2.0 on February 4
Stable, a layer 1 blockchain backed by Tether (USDT), announced that its mainnet will be upgraded to version 1.2.0 on February 4. According to PANews, this update is expected to include several significant improvements.
The most notable change is the native gas system. The current wrap/unwrap process will be discontinued, allowing USDT to be used directly as gas fees. This will enable users to access the network without undergoing complex conversion processes, significantly improving convenience.
At the same time, Stable will enhance observability of the staking lifecycle. The staking status of indexers will be more closely tracked, increasing transparency across the network. Additionally, this improvement aims to enhance developer compatibility across the platform, making the development environment more user-friendly in the future.
