"Paid Collaboration" rules attract attention in the crypto community: multiple X users report that posting suspected advertising content has led to account lockouts.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 2nd — Today, multiple users on the X platform’s crypto community reported that their accounts were locked after posting what appeared to be advertising content. The main reason was that posting “projects with invitations” is considered advertising by X platform. However, after removing the related posts, accounts could be unlocked. According to crypto community analysis, currently, all suspected advertising posts must use the official “Paid Partnership” label or prominently start with “Ad / Sponsored by XXX.” Disclosure needs to be clearly visible, and sponsored content must be obligatorily marked; otherwise, posts are very likely to be deleted or accounts banned. Previously, X product lead and Solana advisor Nikita Bier clarified that the “Paid Partnership” feature is not specifically aimed at prediction markets but is used to label commercial promotional content, enhance transparency with fans, and clearly distinguish between commercial collaborations and organic content.
