Japan plans to introduce AI robots for security, waste disposal, and other scenarios by 2030

March 20 News: Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will compile a plan for the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous robots, aiming to introduce them into security, waste management, and other operational sites by 2030. The government and private sector will also jointly develop a new generation of AI serving as the “brain.” By utilizing AI robots capable of performing more advanced actions, they aim to alleviate labor shortages and improve productivity. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will soon release the “AI Robot Strategy” roadmap, summarizing measures for AI robot development and adoption. (Interface)
