BTC Short-Term Bearish Outlook: Geopolitics Dominating the Market, Technical Correction Window Opened
The core contradiction in the current crypto market is very clear: Middle East geopolitical situation remains the main pricing driver, combined with technical divergence following yesterday's sharp rally, BTC's short-term correction pressure has significantly increased, maintaining a cautious bearish stance aligns better with market logic.
From a macro and fundamental perspective, Middle East geopolitical risks have not truly been resolved, and oil prices and shipping expectations continue to influence global risk sentiment.
BTC is fundamentally a high-risk asset, highly sensitive to geopolitical disruptions and liquidity expectations; the previous phase of rebound was largely due to temporary de-escalation and capital inflows, not a trend reversal.
Once Strait of Hormuz shipping disruptions occur, oil prices rise again, or conflict signals reoccur, risk assets will come under rapid pressure, and BTC will hardly be immune.
Looking at the technical side: yesterday's market showed a notable rally, with bulls quickly depleting momentum in a short timeframe. Both the 4-hour and daily timeframes show overbought correction needs, with RSI and MACD simultaneously displaying top divergence signals. Price has deviated too far from short-term moving averages, which naturally necessitates a pullback to confirm support levels.
Combined with trapped long positions at previous highs and short-term profit-taking pressures, the resistance to further upside is substantial. A pullback following the trend to digest floating shares is the more reasonable move.
Comprehensive judgment: Unstable fundamentals + technical correction needs mean BTC has a higher probability of downward correction in the short term. Operationally, it's recommended to strictly control position sizes, avoid chasing highs, and wait for pullbacks to key support zones before reassessing entry strength; if geopolitical tensions tighten again, the correction space could further expand.
Respect the trend, respect volatility—in a geopolitically-driven market, stability is more important than aggression!
