The United States economy (AS) is the world's largest free-market economic system driven by private ownership and technological innovation. Although facing persistent high inflation challenges and a slight slowdown in GDP growth at the end of 2025, the US economy is projected to grow around 3.5% in 2026.

Key sectors include technology (represented by the Nasdaq index), financial services, and manufacturing. Monetary policy is managed by the Federal Reserve (The Fed) to maintain price stability and employment. However, economic inequality remains a real issue, with the top 10% of earners owning about 70% of the country's assets, creating a "K-shaped" economic phenomenon.
