So I came across an interesting thing — how many ways are there actually to make money without investments? Seriously, it's more than I expected. People around me are doing it, and I never would have thought it’s so simple.

I started by trying freelancing. I just registered an account, uploaded a few samples of my work, and waited. Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer — there are quite a few platforms. Friends do copywriting, design, programming. Everyone says it pays off if you have talent and can stick with it in the beginning.

But then I found out there are even things I never expected. For example, selling photos — if you have pictures on your computer, you can upload them to Shutterstock or iStock, and every time someone downloads them, you get a share of the revenue. Or blogging — it sounds simple, but it takes time. You need to write quality content, wait for it to rank on Google, and then it generates money.

What surprised me is how many people do online tutoring or transcription. Transcribing audio files into text — Rev, TranscribeMe — these are legitimate things. Or being an instructor on Udemy, Teachable. If you have something you enjoy and are good at, you can turn it into a course.

I’m amazed at how many ways there are to make money without investments. There are also things like social media management for companies, article writing, podcasts, YouTube channels. All without putting in money.

But I have to say — there are also a lot of scams. I read through them and see warnings: verify platforms, be careful with emails asking for your info, watch out for offers that promise too much. Some sites are fake, created by artificial intelligence. Always check who you’re working with.

The best is to start with something you’re interested in. If you like writing, do articles. Got a talent for selling? Try affiliate marketing — you get a commission when someone clicks your link and makes a purchase. Have a good voice? Voice recordings. Can cook? Sell homemade products on Etsy.

It sounds like a great opportunity, especially if you’re looking for flexible work. Students, parents, retirees — everyone can do it. Just be careful and choose the right platforms.
