Last night I stayed up watching the market until 3 a.m. I just wanted to "take one last look," but I ended up watching until dawn.
The market is kind of like an ex: during the day, they say they'll never contact you again; at night, they secretly open your chat to take a peek.
I told my friend I was into value investing, and he nodded, then watched me open 12 positions in a single day.
Sometimes I really wonder if K-line charts are specifically designed for me: I buy, and it drops; I sell, and it soars. Is the main force installing monitoring software on my phone?
The most ridiculous thing is, every time I plan to "hold long-term," the market starts teaching me what short-term volatility is; then when I switch to short-term trading, it suddenly forms a trend I can't catch.
Later, I summarized a trading rule:
When you're not moving, you're the most stable; once you move, you start paying tuition.
But you say don't do anything, and you can't help it; do something, and you regret it.
This is probably the fate of retail investors: bouncing back and forth between "wait a little longer" and "I knew it."
But on the other hand, even if there's a loss, you still have to smile.
After all, if there's no happiness at all, then this market truly only leaves risk.
