Iran’s IRGC Releases New Death Threat Video Showing Faces of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang & OpenAI CEO Sam Altman

Iran and its military are turning their focus toward the men building the future as tech and territory clash. A few days ago, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released a video that specifically targeted the biggest names in American artificial intelligence. During the broadcast, the IRGC showed photos of Nvidia NVDA +0.14% ▲ CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, labeling them as key players in a new digital war against the Iranian state.

Targeted Photos Create a Personal Threat

The video made the conflict personal showing the faces of the people behind the world’s most powerful AI tools.

The speaker in the video made it clear that Iran views Silicon Valley as an extension of the U.S. military. The IRGC signaled that it sees AI development as a direct threat to its security through the use of Jensen Huang and Sam Altman’s photos on screen. The message warned that “complete and utter annihilation” would face any U.S. or Israeli facilities, including the data centers these leaders are building, if the U.S. targets Iran’s power grid.

Middle East Projects Draw Iran’s Anger

The primary reason these leaders are being singled out is their massive investment in the Middle East. OpenAI is currently planning a $30 billion AI data center in Abu Dhabi known as Stargate.

At the same time, Jensen Huang has publicly doubled down on his commitment to the region. Speaking on the All-In Podcast recently, Huang addressed the growing tension, saying:

“I’ve been asked several times, are we still considering being in Israel? We are 100% in Israel. We are 100% behind the families there. We are 100% in the Middle East.”

He also noted that Nvidia has about 6,000 families in the region, including many employees with families still in Iran. “The first thing is that they’re quite anxious. They’re quite concerned, quite scared. We’re thinking about them all the time… They have 100% of our support,” he added. Iran sees these data centers as potential bases for digital warfare. The IRGC’s video suggested that these “super-computers” could be used to launch cyberattacks or guide drones. This makes the men who build them legitimate targets in their eyes.

Digital Attacks Shift the Modern Battlefield

This warning follows real-world strikes that have already damaged the tech world. An Iranian missile strike recently hit Amazon Web Services (AWS) AMZN +1.44% ▲ data centers in Bahrain and Dubai, causing major outages.

The focus on Huang and Altman shows that Iran is shifting its strategy to include “cloud-connected” warfare. The IRGC is trying to scare investors and tech companies away from partnering with the U.S. and Israel in the region through these public threats. This new type of “digital deterrence” proves that in 2026, the people who design the chips and the code are now just as much on the front lines as the soldiers on the ground.

Is Nvidia Stock Still a Buy?

Despite the threats, Nvidia stock (NVDA) still commands a Strong Buy rating. his rating is based on 41 Buys, one Hold, and one Sell rating assigned in the past three months. The average 12-month NVDA price target of $273.57 implies 54% upside from current levels.
