#GateSquareAprilPostingChallenge The price of gold in the spot market ( Gold ) rose to a three-week high during the Asian trading session on Wednesday, as the US dollar weakened after President Donald Trump approved a two-week ceasefire with Iran, thwarting plans for an attack on the country's civilian infrastructure. The spot gold price increased by 2.5% to $4,821.48 per ounce at 20:38, reaching the highest level since March 19.
