The United States should quickly find a psychologist for Trump; he's too pitiful, talking nonsense every day.
Yesterday, Trump said: "Tonight, all civilization will perish and never exist again. I don't want such a thing to happen, but it might... maybe some revolutionary miracle will occur, who knows? Tonight, we will witness it."
Is he forcing civilization to perish? Is Trump desperate enough to use nuclear bombs? Obviously not, he's just bluffing as usual.
Let's count his threats—it's not the first or second time.
On March 21, Trump issued a tough statement, giving Iran a 48-hour deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz, or he would bomb Iran's power plants.
Just two days later, on March 23, he changed his tone, saying negotiations were making progress and pushed back the deadline by 5 days—that's the first extension.
Before those 5 days were up, on March 26, Trump changed his mind again, saying he would extend it by another 10 days, with a new deadline of the evening of April 6, and he added threats: if Iran doesn't cooperate, he would bomb Iran's oil fields, power plants, and even desalination plants—that's the second extension.
By April 4, just two days before the deadline, Trump posted on social media, "Only 48 hours left, hell is coming," but then on the 5th, he pushed the deadline back another day, setting it for 8 p.m. on April 7 Eastern Time—that's the third extension.
Trump keeps shouting "final deadline" while repeatedly delaying, and Iran isn't buying it. Iran even提出了 10 条永久停战要求。
The international community ridicules this as "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." The deterrent effect is weakening with each delay. Ultimately, Trump is trying to pressure Iran into concessions, but he's also afraid that a real escalation could lead to an uncontrollable war—that's why he's playing this back-and-forth game!
Yesterday, he threatened to destroy civilization; today, he woke up and announced a two-week ceasefire, and said Iran's 10 ceasefire demands are negotiable.
He's giving himself an out, shooting himself in the foot—this has happened more than once. It's so divided!
