Take good care of yourself

Stop paying attention to those unrealistic motivational stories online—they can really be harmful. Take a look at the everyday sparks of life in the real world. For 99% of people, life is lived in ordinary ways: sometimes interesting, sometimes just really dull. Don’t spend all day searching for some “meaning.” Life itself is just a cup of plain water. There’s no need to envy other people’s colorful drinks—maybe your plain water is what truly quenches your thirst. And don’t get trapped in two big misconceptions: living for others to see, or constantly watching other people’s lives. We’re all very ordinary. We don’t have so many spectators, so there’s no need to prove anything to anyone. Don’t wear yourself out, and don’t get stuck in overthinking. Today’s big thing becomes tomorrow’s small matter; this year’s big thing becomes next year’s story; the big things of this life become legends in the next life—afterlife.
