Two-week ceasefire, don’t be naive! Trump is playing a "legal loophole" game

Why is the temporary ceasefire two weeks, not two days, or two months? There’s a big trick behind it!
The United States has a "War Powers Resolution," which states that the president cannot engage in hostilities abroad for more than 60 days without Congress's approval. Now, this war has already lasted over 40 days, and in two to three weeks, the 60-day limit will be reached.
Do you understand? Trump now agrees to a two-week ceasefire, which is equivalent to announcing "the end of the previous military operation." After two to three weeks, the 60-day deadline will automatically reset, and he can immediately get authorization for a new round of war—another attack on Iran!
This is a technical way to bypass the law and silence Congress.
And during these two weeks, the U.S. military isn’t idle: replenishing ammunition stocks, waiting for the arrival of the 10th Air Expeditionary Group.
So don’t think the ceasefire is true peace. Trump can’t afford to lose, nor can he back down. After two weeks, he’s very likely to launch even more intense strikes on Iran, possibly even deploying ground troops, fulfilling his crazy threat to "destroy Iranian civilization."
Two weeks is not a truce; it’s a countdown. #Gate广场四月发帖挑战
