CryptoWorld News reports that, according to the CNN report dated the 11th, a senior Pakistani source revealed that U.S. Vice President Vance played a key role in facilitating the U.S.-Iran negotiations to be launched in Islamabad, Pakistan. The source familiar with the negotiation process said they estimate that it will take several days to finalize a ceasefire agreement, and Pakistani officials are hoping to persuade Vance to extend his stay in Pakistan to help bring it about.

In addition, a senior official from the Gulf region said that Iran has extremely low trust in U.S. President Trump's special envoy, Witkov. Previously, Witkov had led multiple rounds of negotiations with Iran, but those talks were interrupted by the U.S. military strikes against Iran. Witkov is one of the members of the U.S. delegation taking part in the Islamabad negotiations. (China News Service)
