World (WLD) is about to slow down the unlock rate by 43% starting from July 7/2026
The project announced that from 24/7/2026, the amount of WLD unlocked each day will sharply decrease from ~5.1 million tokens to ~2.9 million tokens.
Specifically:
- Allocation for the community: reduced by 50%, from 3.2M → 1.6M WLD/day
- Allocation for the Team + Investor: reduced by 32%, from 1.9M → 1.3M WLD/day
This schedule has been pre-defined on-chain since the beginning and will automatically activate exactly 3 years after the launch date (24/7/2023). Currently, WLD has unlocked 4.9 billion tokens (49% of the total supply of 10 billion), of which 3.3 billion are in circulation.
