🔥 Iranian security sources: The Strait of Hormuz will remain blocked until a US-Iran agreement framework is reached

According to CNN, an Iranian security source stated that the Strait of Hormuz will continue to be blocked until Iran and the United States reach a "common framework" for ongoing negotiations. The source said that the US side has made "excessive demands" on several issues, including key waterways, which has so far prevented both sides from reaching a common understanding and advancing negotiations. The source stated: "Iran is not in a hurry to take action." He also said that Tehran has conveyed to the US that, until a common framework is established, "the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain unchanged," and that "even the previously agreed number of ships passing through will not be achievable." If US negotiators do not demonstrate a "realistic outlook," the strait will remain closed.
