$BTC $ETH Three rounds of talks go into the late hours; Iran-U.S. negotiations' three major issues remain unresolved
Golden Finance reports that on April 12th, local time, Iran and the United States concluded their third round of talks in Islamabad. Iran described this round as the "last chance" to reach a framework agreement. Since the 11th, the two sides have held intensive negotiations into the late hours, seizing the temporary ceasefire window to accelerate their bargaining. However, sharp disagreements persist on three core issues: control of the Strait of Hormuz, the unfreezing of overseas assets, and uranium enrichment. Outside the negotiation table, the U.S. military announced mine-clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz, while Israel’s Prime Minister claimed they will continue to target Iran and its proxies. With the ceasefire window closing, diplomatic negotiations and military actions are intensifying simultaneously. The Middle East situation stands at a crossroads between war and peace.
