Wu said it has learned that the latest development brief released by the Ethereum Foundation, “Checkpoint #9,” shows that the Glamsterdam upgrade has been delayed because implementing ePBS (protocol-internal PBS) is highly difficult, and overall progress has been pushed back. Developers are expected to begin operating the first generalized development network next week. The subsequent Hegotá upgrade has already been confirmed to adopt FOCIL (EIP-7805) as the top consensus-layer feature, and on April 9 it opened applications for non-headlining (Non-headlining) feature proposals. In addition, the testnet continues to validate the 60M Gas limit target. It is reported that Glamsterdam and Hegotá are the next Ethereum hard fork upgrade series following Pectra and Fusaka, respectively.
