JUST IN: Negotiations between the United States and Iran in Pakistan ended without an agreement after Washington insisted on an explicit commitment from Tehran not to pursue nuclear weapons.


Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command confirmed mine-clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz, while Donald Trump stated that the waterway would be reopened and that Iranian forces had been defeated.
JD Vance said there was no agreement with Iran and maintained that this represents bad news for Tehran.
