#Gate13周年 Cloud computing startup Fluidstack is in talks with investors for a new funding round of approximately $1 billion, with a target valuation of about $18 billion. Sources say that Jane Street and Situational Awareness are discussing co-leading the investment, and Morgan Stanley is serving as an advisor for this round. The valuation has significantly increased from the approximately $7.5 billion funding earlier this year, which was backed by investors including former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner's fund Situational Awareness. Fluidstack focuses on building high-performance computing data centers, recently signing a roughly $50 billion customized data center construction agreement with Anthropic, and has moved its headquarters from London to New York, also withdrawing from a large data center project in France to focus on U.S. operations.
