Current Altcoin Market Trading Strategy: Mainly Technical Rebound Waves

Abstract generation in progress

Currently, I still see the upward momentum of altcoins from March to now as more of a “technical rebound wave” rather than the start of a new growth cycle. Therefore, the main strategy remains to find small-cap coins that have previously fallen sharply for short-term trading, rather than holding long-term.

  1. MEME Group: Prioritize Small Coins, Avoid Coins with Many Trapped Positions In the MEME system, recent capital flow has mainly focused on small-cap coins. Names that previously increased tenfold in the market such as PEPE, PENGU, WIF, or BONK have not experienced much movement. The reason could be that a large number of investors are still “stuck,” so the creators do not want to push the price up to release supply. Conversely, MEME tokens that were listed and experienced long-term sharp declines have recently shown quite strong rebounds. Some names like BOME, NEIRO, PNUT are indicating signs of “revival.” Additionally, coins like TURBO, DOGS, or ACT also have the potential for short-term rebound waves.
  2. GameFi Group: The Last Wave Before Purification? In the blockchain gaming sector, some projects like HIGH or PORTAL have experienced strong increases. However, for coins at risk of delisting, the price increase may only be the final push to unload holdings. Projects that were once very hot but have now lost 90–99% of their market cap, such as GMT, NXPC, or PIXEL, may show signs of technical rebound. However, this is only suitable for short-term trading.
  3. RWA: Leading Capital Flow The real asset sector (RWA) has performed quite well recently. CFG plays a leading role, and when it rises, it often pulls other projects in the same ecosystem along. RSR has rebounded, and PLUME has also recorded significant gains. Additionally, USUAL and EPIC can be observed further.
  4. Note on Capital Management The “observation” area still offers many opportunities, but the risks are very high, especially the risk of delisting. The upward movements before being removed often happen very quickly and are only suitable for ultra-short-term trading. In the current context, capital management remains the top priority. Only small proportions should be used for trading altcoins. The real big opportunities are likely to come in the second half of the year when the market enters a clearer trend phase. Proper preparation and accumulation for the next growth cycle are the key factors in enhancing long-term asset value.
