Trouble in Ethereum? Network Finality Issues Sow Confusion

Ethereum, the world's second largest blockchain, experienced a technical issue on Friday, causing its network to halt finalizing blocks for more than an hour. This is the second issue of its kind in 24 hours, with a 25-minute window on Thursday.

The cause of these outages is still unknown, sparking discussion in the crypto community. Despite transactions appearing to process, the fact they don't get finalized can mean they can potentially be re-ordered or ignored.
