What is the concept of funding rate -0.8%? Can anyone explain it? In this case, it cannot be empty.

Hello, funding fees are paid to each other by both long and short parties to balance the contract price. If the contract market price is too much higher than the spot price, the funding rate is positive, and the longs pay to the shorts; if the contract market price is too much lower than the spot price, the funding rate is negative, and the shorts need to pay to the longs. Please take a look at this explanation of funding fees. https://www.gateex.cc/en/help/futures/futures_logic/27569/funding-rate-and-funding-fee
