Terra Founder Do Kwon Still Not Returned: Objection from Court!
The return of Terra (LUNA) founder Do Kwon has been postponed once again.
According to local news agency, the Montenegrin Supreme Court has postponed the extradition of Terra founder Do Kwon to South Korea. The court's objection was among the noteworthy points.
Do Kwon, who has been detained in Montenegro for about a year, has been attempted to be extradited to the US and Korea multiple times, but ongoing problems have prevented this.
The appeal decision of the panel chaired by Judge Seka Piletić was given on August 2nd, along with the proposal to suspend the execution of Supreme Court decisions, due to the request for legal protection.
The statement made by the Council included the following expressions:
At today's session of the Council, a Decision was adopted to postpone the execution of the decision of the Podgorica High Court and the Court of Appeal of Montenegro until the High Court's decision on the protection request.
VDT's reaction came one day after the Court of Appeals in Podgorica approved the decision of the High Court in Do Kwon's own country to extradite him, and today's decision prevented the Ministry of Justice from immediately implementing this decision.
