Recently, a fan asked me about my opinion on OP, which reminded me of a topic. Let's talk about these coins: OP, ARB, and WLD. Why don't I recommend buying them?
I have excluded these three coins from the Bull Market catch the bottom list, and I do not recommend holding them during the Bull Market. The reason is simple: currently, more than 80% of the tokens in these four coins are still in Lock-up Position. However, these tokens will gradually unlock in the future, especially WLD. Currently, only 3.8% of the tokens are circulating in the market, which means that 96.2% of the tokens are still in Lock-up Position and will be unlocked in the future.
Why do I not recommend buying these coins? Let me give you an example: Suppose you are single now, with a monthly salary of 5000 yuan, living a comfortable life where everyone is well-fed. After a year, your salary rises to 8000 yuan, but by then you get married and need to share half of it with your wife. Although the salary rises, the actual amount of money you can use is only 4000 yuan. Two years later, your salary rises to 10000 yuan, but when your child is born, you have to allocate 3300 yuan for the child. Although the salary continues to rise, the actual amount of money you have in hand is only 3300 yuan.
Do you understand what I mean? In short, although the Market Cap of these coins may pump with the Bull Market, the price increase of each coin may not be very high due to the continuous increase of Circulating Supply, and it may even be dragged down by the speed of unlocking.
Of course, I'm not saying these coins won't rise. I just think that their rise may not be as great as other coins. Moreover, if the rise speed of the total Market Cap cannot keep up with the unlocking speed, these coins will become "junk coins"! So, I suggest everyone to choose carefully and avoid these types of coins.
In fact, there are many similar currencies that have the same problem. This is also one of my standards for selecting tokens - try to choose those where most of the tokens have already been unlocked, rather than currencies with long unlocking periods, otherwise they may be slowly worn down by a blunt knife Cut Loss.
