Tokyo-based Metaplanet announced today that it has added approximately 156 BTC to its holdings, worth about $10 million, bringing its total BTC holdings to 1108 coins, with a total value of about $69 million. As a result of this news, the company's stock price surged 8% in the Asian morning trading session, reaching 1139 yen. It is reported that Metaplanet has been continuously expanding its BTC holdings since October and has accumulated more than 600 BTC this month alone.
