MicroStrategy's Michael Saylor Buys Another $4.6 Billion Worth of Bitcoin While the company continues to bet on a strategy that has been successful, MicroStrategy's Michael Saylor has bought another $4.6 billion worth of Bitcoin. In fact, Saylor announced the acquisition on X (formerly Twitter). As a result, the company's holdings increased by an additional 51,780 BTC. This move allows the company to further increase its investment in the leading cryptocurrency. So far, it has yielded excellent results. Last week, the asset reached an all-time high of $93,000 after continuously setting price records. This trend is expected to continue into next year. In a press release about the sale, the company updated its total holdings to 331,200 BTC. The reserve is worth $16.5 billion, but it would be even more impressive if you consider the average cost per BTC. According to Saylor, the company acquired them at an average of only $49,874 per Bitcoin.
