hello 👋
Today is the 171st day of my dynamic posting without interruption. [Smile] [Smile] [Smile] Each post is not perfunctory, but carefully prepared. [Lovely] [Lovely] [Lovely]
I have set a small goal for myself, which is to persist in writing for a year first. If you think I am a serious person, you can follow me, and I hope the daily content can help you. [奋斗] I like to share Spot that can keep up with me for free.
Tonight, let's talk about the three key points of trading with everyone: risk-reward ratio, win rate, and Position management. The so-called Position management is not only about Light Position, nor is it always avoiding Heavy Position. Many people believe that heavy losses are caused by Heavy Position, but this is just a superficial phenomenon. Heavy Position can indeed accelerate losses, but it is not the root cause. On the contrary, profit and loss are two sides of the same coin. If we want to achieve a large profit, we must take a gamble through Heavy Position.
So, the essence of Position management is to choose the size of the Position according to different timing, and here the timing can also be understood separately. Time represents timing. For example, at the peak of the market, Positions should be cashed out, and at the bottom of the market, Positions should be gradually released. And in a turbulent market, flexible Positions should be chosen. Opportunity represents opportunity. So, if you still lack judgment on reality and need to survive, then it is not wrong to close all positions. But if you want to achieve real growth, you must seize the opportunity, and this is Position management.
The profit and loss ratio refers to how much you earn when you make a profit, divided by how much you lose when you stop loss. For example, if you can earn 10 points each time, but stop loss at 3 points, then the profit and loss ratio is 3. The winning rate is easier to understand. In 100 trades, you make money 70 times and lose money 30 times, so the winning rate is 70%. So whether you make money or lose money in the long run depends on the winning rate and the profit and loss ratio. If your winning rate is relatively low, you need to increase the requirements for Enter a Position and reduce your operations. Because the more you operate, the more you lose.
Keep up with my posts every day, don't fall behind, it will definitely bring you harvest and growth! Wish you a successful trading [smile]
