According to the Brazilian media Blocknews, Petrobras, the Brazilian National Oil Company, announced that it will launch a research and development project with the plan to enter the BTCMining field. Petrobras intends to use the associated gas generated during oil extraction as an energy source to power BTCMining, aiming to improve energy utilization efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in this way.
