Did you know that in 1935, every train at New York City's railway station used to pass through the shadow of a silent killer? Yes, it was not some supernatural power but a small thing called a 'hot box.' It was a bearing of the train wheels, which used to get hot due to the speed of the train. If it had a lack of oil, it would start emitting smoke or even catch fire! 😱

Up to the point that if the 'hot box' address was not found, the entire train could have been engulfed in flames, and hundreds of passengers could have been in danger. But there was a hero who was silently on duty - the 'hot box inspector'! This inspector could detect even a small sign of smoke or fire and immediately stop the train to avert the danger. 🦸‍♂️🔥

It was a time when technology was not so advanced, but human vigilance and hard work prevented many accidents from happening. The next time you travel by train, remember, no matter how comfortable the journey may be, it is backed by the hard work and vigilance of many people. 🙏✨
