Trump and Russia reached protocol!!! Exchange American teachers with BTC-e founder

President Trump has sent BTC-e founder Alexander Vinnik back to Russia in exchange for American teacher Marc Fogel, who was sentenced in Russia for carrying marijuana, through a prisoner exchange program. Although Vinnik was involved in a large-scale money laundering case and the BTC-e platform he was involved in was closed due to criminal activities, this transaction is evidently not for the purpose of supporting cryptocurrencies but to ensure Fogel's safe return to the country.
This exchange has sparked a lot of controversy. Trump has recently been endorsing the cryptocurrency field frequently, but Vinnik's situation is quite different from the previous pardon of Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road. Unlike Ulbricht's "crypto hero" image, Vinnik faces heavy accusations of money laundering and fraud, and his return to Russia may only be superficial "parole," and he may actually face more judicial consequences. At the same time, upon his return to Russia, Fogel publicly thanked Trump, making the transaction seem more legitimate.
