#ETH Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared the Railgun privacy pool mechanism on social media. This mechanism allows users to avoid dealing with proceeds of crime without the need for monitoring or backdoors. Users can make deposits and, after a series of screenings, can make private withdrawals using Zero-Knowledge Proof. If the deposit does not pass the screening, the funds will be returned to the user's Address without being frozen or confiscated. Users can also freely fork and create their own privacy pools, but Anonymity is limited and needs sufficient support.
