President Donald Trump announced five cryptocurrencies being considered for the United States' "strategic reserve" (AS). Through his Truth Social account, he stated that this is an extension of his executive order from last January.
Of the five cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, and Cardano. "And, of course, BTC and ETH, like other valuable cryptocurrencies, will be at the core of reserves," he said, referring to Bitcoin and Ether, quoted from Reuters, Monday (3/3/2025).
