Share The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Brazil, the most important indicator of economic growth, rose 3.4% in 2024, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Among the sectors, Industry grew by 3.3% and Services grew by 3.7%. Agriculture, however, declined by 3.2%.
In current values, the GDP totaled R$ 11.7 trillion in 2024, according to IBGE. Meanwhile, GDP per capita reached R$ 55,247.45, with a real advance of 3.0% compared to the previous year. The investment rate in 2024 was 17.0% of GDP and grew compared to 2023, when it had been 16.4%. The savings rate, on the other hand, stood at 14.5% in 2024, compared to 15% in 2023
