Are you waiting for the altcoin season? Data indicates that it's already here :

Every time Bitcoin's dominance decreases, analysts say that the altcoin season is approaching. But the data indicates that the altseason has already arrived and passed.
A few things in cryptocurrency are as unclear and misunderstood as the concept of "altcoin season." Traditionally, this term referred to a short period — usually 2–3 months — following a rally in the price of Bitcoin (BTC), when altcoins outperform BTC in cumulative returns. This pattern was observed in the cycles of 2015–2018 and 2019–2022, but a verdict has yet to be made on whether the current bull market has had its altcoin season.
The Blockchain Center defines the altcoin season as a period when 75% of the top 50 altcoins outperform Bitcoin over a 90-day moving average. Its Altcoin Season Index recorded a rise in March 2024 and again in January 2025 — but neither lasted long enough to qualify as a true altcoin season.
