Selon BlockBeats news du 17 février, selon The Block, StarkWare intègre Nightfall, une couche open source de confidentialité à connaissance zéro développée par EY en tant que l’un des quatre grands cabinets comptables, dans son Starknet pour des transactions institutionnelles confidentielles sur l’infrastructure blockchain publique.
Cette mesure permet aux institutions d’utiliser des blockchains publiques pour des paiements B2B privés, des opérations de fonds et des transferts d’actifs tokenisés sans exposer des détails sensibles des transactions. StarkWare affirme que Nightfall prend en charge la confidentialité des transactions par défaut tout en soutenant des exigences de divulgation sélective et de conformité, telles que l’authentification du client (KYC), permettant au système de répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs institutionnels.
