Jin10 reported on October 2 that the Sudanese Armed Forces stated on October 1 local time that they killed multiple foreign mercenaries in a conflict in the city of Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State in western Sudan, including personnel from Colombia and Ukraine. The Sixth Infantry Division of the Sudanese Armed Forces stationed in Fasher stated in a declaration that these foreign mercenaries were fighting for the Sudan Rapid Support Forces, mainly responsible for operating drones. In a battle east of Fasher that day, they were ambushed and killed by the Sudanese Armed Forces. The statement did not disclose the specific number of casualties.
