According to Korea Exchange, all 23 KOSDAQ-listed exchange-traded funds (excluding leveraged and inverse products) posted negative returns over the past month ending July 20. Passive ETFs tracking the KOSDAQ 150 index fell approximately 25%, with KODEX KOSDAQ 150 down 25.67% and TIGER KOSDAQ 150 down 25.58%. Active ETFs also suffered losses, with SOL KOSDAQ TOP10 recording the largest decline of 32.02%.
Despite the losses, retail investors continued buying at lower prices. KODEX KOSDAQ 150, the largest KOSDAQ-related ETF by net assets, saw net inflows of 296.5 billion won over the period, while DS KOSDAQ Active attracted 10.6 billion won in its first week after listing on July 14.
